Energetic Space Clearing

A space clearing is a form of energy work which releases and balances the intangible blockages in the space and for all those who live and work there. It is a gentle method for discovering where there is stagnant energy, troublesome clutter and leftover drama or trauma from the past. Clearing this energy creates a balanced state that brings harmony and allows you to move forward in life. A space clearing can be thought of like acupuncture for the space, just as personal clearing (which is also part of this session) can be compared to acupuncture for the spirit.

This process can be done on-site with you, or remotely using a floor plan. On-site sessions are available in the San Francisco Bay Area and require 4-6 hours plus a minimal travel fee. If you live elsewhere but prefer to have an in-person visit, please ask, since I travel frequently.

It is just as effective to do this work remotely using a floor plan. We will schedule 2 appointments over the phone or online to go over instructions, findings, and to do the personal energy clearing component at the end. Instructions are provided to create a simple floor plan for me to work on the space remotely. If desired I will record the session for you. Very large homes, big families or businesses require more time, and are prorated at $150/hour.

Feng Shui Consultation

You may have heard Feng Shui is about painting your front door red or placing 2 candles in the ‘Love’ corner of your bedroom to attract a soul mate. It is so much more! With my training in classical Feng Shui and years of design practice, I can help you maximize the energy of your home or business. This translates into greater well-being and prosperity for all those who live or work there. Your customers will appreciate and sense the positive flow of energy, which results in greater sales. Your CEO’s and employees will be positioned to maximize productivity. It’s easy to create beautifully calm and balanced homes or vibrantly healthy and productive work environments without breaking the bank or requiring you to place anything in your space that is not congruent with your lifestyle, brand or design aesthetic.

When you are buying, selling or remodeling a property, it is very helpful to have a greater understanding of the outside influences of the landscape, the neighborhood, the shape of the property, the layout of the building, and the former use of the space. These are all influencing the people who live or pass through the space. There are specific recommendations in Feng Shui for these situations.

On-site consultations are available in the San Francisco Bay Area and require several hours on-site plus a minimal travel fee. If you live elsewhere but prefer to have an in-person visit, please ask. Consultations can be effectively done remotely as well. In our follow-up session, I’ll explain all the findings and recommendations. You will receive a comprehensive report, with recommendations and graphics specific to the building and the residents that you will be able to refer to for many years or as you go through stages of your build-out. Costs for multi-unit complexes and large businesses is higher and can be quoted. Please inquire for a bid specific to your home, shop or office.

Garden Consultation

Would you like to make outdoor tasks easier and less toxic? Perhaps you’d like to plant a garden, but are unsure of what will grow? Would you love a fire pit? A pool? An outdoor meditation area? A spot to honor your ancestors? Maximizing a view? Minimizing a troublesome neighbor? Or how about the best place for children to play? Let me help you get a sense of what is possible to maximize your landscape for your family’s enjoyment and to be stewards of your precious piece of Mother Earth.

I’ve had a landscape design practice for 25 years and combine my architectural design experience, horticultural expertise, and understanding of healthy ecosystems to advise you in practical ways for you to have a garden that is more of a sanctuary than a money pit. I’ll note Feng Shui challenges and strengths of the landscape which guides us in locating key features.

This session is an on-site 90-minute recorded consultation. It is also possible to do virtual garden consultations if you are not in the San Francisco area, using your phone to give me a visual walking tour.

A walk-through consultation is perfect for a gardener who just needs a little reassurance or new ideas to get started. But if you decide more specific guidance is needed, I’m happy to create a full landscape design for you after this consultation, including a master plan and/or a planting plan. The $250 fee would be subtracted from the total bid for any plans or design work you may need.

Landscape Design

Creating a beautiful landscape can enhance the value of your property significantly, not to mention your own pleasure with your garden. Expanding your livable space with outdoor rooms, improving the circulation patterns with paths and hardscaping, and a connection to the natural world has a profound effect on the health and well-being of your family and neighborhood.

I combine my architectural design experience, horticultural expertise, and understanding of healthy ecosystems to advise you in practical ways to create a garden you will enjoy for years to come. Regionally appropriate garden style, design of decks or structures and a plant palette that will work in your climate is not always easy to create for the average homeowner. This is when it makes sense to hire a professional to help you.

You will end up saving yourself a lot of hard work, disappointment and money by starting out with a clear master plan that lays it all out for you, and allows you to build it in stages. Specific planting plans and purchase orders help you get the right plants into the right places. Local contractors for installation and maintenance can be coordinated and overseen by me, to assure your project goes smoothly from start to finish. If you are a DIYer, you’ll have an understandable plan, drawn to scale, which you can install yourself.

Realtors often ask for input about the Feng Shui layout or the intangible energetics going on if a property isn’t moving quickly. Homeowners or business owners have used these services when choosing between multiple properties or siting new construction on the landscape. By analyzing the influences of the surrounding land and buildings, and understanding how the site may nourish or challenge your family or business is a key to making a successful purchase. The emotional aspects of letting go of attachments to your longtime home, or the clutter that often accompanies it is a process that needs to be honored and gently worked with. This service is customized to meet your needs.

Combination Package: Your Outer Environment

This package gives you the benefit of a complete and thorough assessment of your home and garden in a more economic single visit by combining an Energetic Space Clearing, Feng Shui Consultation and Garden Consultation. (See descriptions above.) This will require a full day. We start with a walk-through of the entire space and a conversation about your specific needs.

A Feng Shui consultation of the home comes first, and then the outdoor space. A Feng Shui floor plan and landscape base plan will be created for the follow-up comprehensive report you will receive later. The second half of the day will be a Space Clearing and Personal Energy Clearings for all who live with you. A follow-up virtual or phone session will be scheduled to review the recommendations. The report, which includes floor plans and graphics, will be useful for years to come. I will record parts of the session for you.

On-site visits in the San Francisco Bay area are available, but travel to other areas can be arranged. If you are more distant, please inquire about ways we can do this service virtually. This combination package is also available for businesses, and can be customized to your needs. Large projects may require more time and will be prorated at $150/hour.
